Revamping my ergonomic setup, Part 3: Test-driving the new desk
The metal shelves rattle a bit when I type at my top speed, so I’ll have to see about that. And I need to locate the power cable for my printer because I want to print something. Adjusting to a new desk is definitely a process, especially for us sensitive writer types who will spend a lot of time at it.
My office is looking so great! It’s spacious, bright, and clutter-free. This is where I will work and be productive and creative and engaged. The right things will be in the right places when I need them.
“Where’s that file on la-di-da?” Ah. Here it is. Read, read. Think, think. Type, type.
With everything in easy reach, I will feel so inspired and motivated. I’ll spend less time on Facebook and Twitter. I’ll drink more water. I’ll start doing yoga again. I’ll ride my exercise bike (and my real bike!) and eat the right things at the right time… and, and…

Susan,
Glad you are working the kinks out of your desk and back. Oh and the pic is surprisingly sexy I must say.
Well thanks for the good wishes and compliment Steven! A new desk looks good on anyone! haha
