Susan Main’s living room solution
Now the income tax is pretty much done and ready for my nice accountant who I exchange “seasons greetings” cards with in December. I’m half-listening to the TV news in the next room. So much badness…
It sounds like three people were shot near the highway in Nanaimo – a city where I spent a lot of time in the past. One of the victim’s neighbours is saying he wants to move. The police are saying “don’t worry, it was a targeted crime.”
Another tragic story comes on. Kelowna woman missing since April 6 found dead. “A mother’s worst nightmare has been realized.” No other details are being released. Two people died in a planecrash.
Weather report. More rain. Showers again for tomorrow.
What’s happening in my tiny microcosm right now?
Well… I was just reading Susan Main’s living room solution by Shauna Lee Lange, who saw my post Wanna Come Help Me Declutter? She asked permission to use the photo and then came up with a great solution for me. I felt so honoured that she took the time to think about my little mess! Thank you Shauna.

wow, she gave some great ideas – and she’s got you figured out! Who knew? Are you going to implement her ideas? If so, I really need to see the after photo!
I love the solution and would love to give it a go one day – once I have the budget for this type of thing!
Wow. smart lady. those are awesome suggestions. I’m going to use/tweak a few for my space. I have tons of books in my living room, bedroom, under my bed, in storage etc. What to do with them all? I think I’ve always thought i’d have a huge library one day, floor to ceiling, large ladder so i’ve kept all the books for that. I think i need to purge some, what to choose.. the huge pile of chicken soups for the soul, Stephen King, old self help I don’t read (but someone might want to?).. I should write my own blog on keeping books… thanks for the reason to rant about it.
I always wanted a big book collection so my son would have good novels to choose one day. That would be a good blog Leah!
